I had to fore-go posting today.  I apologize.  This is has been a weekend to remember.

I have an overloaded weekend of work.  I’m on a trial team, working hard preparing for a trial that begins next week.  In addition, I have other assignments to complete for Monday and Tuesday.  Thus, I am here working all weekend.  (But I’m doing it from home, at least.)

I hate not posting.  I love posting on this blog.  I enjoy expressing my day-to-day thinking and thought processes, and I savor the interactions I have with readers.

Unfortunately, I’m still caught in a go-between (i.e., working the 9 to 5 grind and dipping into entrepreneurial endeavors).  This is the hardest part . . . and the part that dissuades a lot of people from starting a business on the side and devoting every ounce of their spare time to it.

The only I can say is that it’s not so bad.  I manage to post every day on this blog despite a full-time (9 to 7) job, long commutes each way, raising a family, and working on side business projects.  It really isn’t hard to stay afloat and thrive in all of my responsibilities.  The thrill I get from knowing that I’m making progress in my side projects, in my family, and on this blog can’t be described.

So even though today doesn’t have its rightful post, it’s an opportunity for me to say that I’m still here despite an overbearing “rat race” job.

Nothing should stop you from pursuing what it is you were born to do.
