I have written before about the need to understand the terms and practices of the credit cards we have and about how debt works in general.  We also need to understand how our debt–particularly credit card debt–affects our credit scores.  It helps to have a good resource for information.  Too often, people apply for or have credit cards without thinking things through.  You can save a lot of money and maintain a good credit score simply by knowing a little bit of information.

Several websites exist that provide this much-needed information, and one of those is Credit Card Authority, which offers a very helpful credit card service page.  Like other sites, this one provides detailed answers to readers’ questions.

There are many questions and answers listed on that site, and they are spread across approximately 21 pages.  I don’t doubt that the answer to a question you have is posted here.  The information provided ranges from simple inquiries like “how do I apply for credit?” to more complicated questions like “What is the best card for someone with bad credit?”ccr.bmp

Browsing through these questions and answers will, no doubt, improve your knowledge about credit cards and the decisions you make based on the benefits or disadvantages associated with various cards.

The only helpful criticism I have about this site–as I do with any other site–is the need to improve some of the grammar and spelling.  Some of the answers have very minor mistakes.  This is probably due to the website’s quick responses and the urgency for information, but I still think perfection in grammar illustrates professionalism.  The information on Credit Card Authority’s credit card service page is valuable.  If more proofreading is incorporated, the site will likely attract even more readers.
