You're absolutely right. The only real way to break away from the danger of working holidays is to be your own boss and own your own business. I might have been nitpicking since I don't work in a casino or in a restaurant where people have to work holidays all the time. For two years I had to work all the holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, you name it....all of them (plus I work night shifts). It sucks so bad.
