A couple of months ago, John Chow posted the video below about his take on the Dot Com Lifestyle, and it attracted a lot of positive feedback from the readers on his blog.

I loved the video when I saw it, and I still can’t get enough of it.  It still resonates with me today just as much as it did on the day John posted it.  So I decided to make it the subject of today’s post.

The video, in which John takes his daughter to the park, is an inspirational look at what a passive income lifestyle is really all about.  It’s not about the money.  It’s not about the material things that money can buy.  It’s not about the flashy travel it can help you afford.  Money is just a means to an end.

The dot com passive income lifestyle isn’t about the money.  It’s about time.  Time with your family.  Time with your loved ones.  And time for yourself.
