On-page optimization has to do with optimizing your website with specific keywords and keywords phrases that people are searching for. Your site ranks higher for certain keywords when you place those keywords in the right places (title, URL, text, tags).Â
But on-page optimization is only the beginning. Off-page optimization is just as, if not more, important. Off-page optimization is all about link-building. It involves acquiring links to your site from other sites. The video below explains very simply what link-building is all about and why it matters.Â
